Over 1000 African Entrepreneurs Meet In Lagos

Today,  The Tony Elumelu Foundation  (TEF) opened the 2nd TEF Entrepreneurship Forum – the largest gathering of African entrepreneurs and the highlight of the annual TEF Entrepreneurship Programme. The Forum celebrates the 2016 cohort of  Elumelu Entrepreneurs  – selected from over 45,000 applicants in 54 African countries – and their completion of the Programme’s innovative 12-week online training. Soldier killed in terror attack

Boko Haram insurgents burned down a military post during the attack Insurgents of the Nigeria-based Islamist terror group, Boko Haram have attacked a military post in Cameroon’s far north region, killing one soldier, wounding another and setting fire on the vicinity.  The wounded soldiers were rushed to the Mada hospital where they were put under intensive care. We gathered from security sources that the heavily armed insurgents from Nigeria crossed the border into the Cameroonian Dambore-Ardebe town yesterday and took soldiers unawares. The insurgents, we learned, also made away with some weapons and munitions.
